Papertrey Die Tree
I used the new turkey die (feather part) to do this tree. I did three and ran them through the Cuttlebug in the Swiss Dots folder. The owl is Papertrey, as is the sentiment. The trunk is a branch from Impress Rubber Stamps, but any branch, tree, twig, stamp would work.

Tim Holtz Card
I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder with beige cardstock. Then I sponged it with various inks and let it dry. Then I "smooshed" Versamark over and heat embossed with clear powder. The cage is a TH die and I sponged it with Encore Enchanted Ultimate Metallic. This was so much fun to make!!

I Just Cannot Buy It All, But--
I can find ways to make do. If you saw Nichole Heady's Papertrey Peek today, your reaction was probably like mine! --So cute!! I did not buy the jars when they were released but the fall/Halloween fillers are so cute. Then I remembered that I did have a jar in my collection somewhere and set out to find it. Yep, I had a jar, spiders, and Nesties to make a label. I added the PTI tickets and came up with something that made me happy. This does not mean I might not buy some of the jar accessories at some point, but I have dedicated myself to making "close enough" rather than buy it all!

Back to School
Lined paper, little girl, and sentiment are all from Cornish Heritage. Apple punch is Martha Stewart and black bits are an old script stamp.
Making Your Own Fabric Tape
If you lay strips of ribbon or fabric on double sided sticky paper you get the same effect as expensive fabric tape.
Adorable Little Girl Stamp
I love this Penny Black stamp set. I colored it with Copics. Background paper is Basic Grey and the border punch is Martha Stewart.

A Great Discovery
I had a stamp that was not taking ink very well. I wet it and rubbed it with a piece of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and it stamps beautifully now.
