Masculine Sunset Card

All stamps by Papertrey. I used glossy card stock and brayered Barely Banana over it. Then I punched a circle in a post it note and stuck it up there for masking for the sun. Brayered again with apricot and pink inks. The rest is stamped in brown chalk ink.

This card is colored with markers. The main image is Fancy Pants and the background is SU.

MFT in Watercolor Crayon

Stamps are MFT. Ribbon is Papertrey. The background is Cuttlebugged on SU Apricot Appeal. Nestie die cut shape is SU Pomegrante cardstock.

Lots of Ribbon for Sale

I have several packages each containing over 100 yards of various ribbon. The are each approximately one yard or longer with some having up to 8 or 9 yards. Many are pieces of ribbon I purchased for $2-3 a yard planning to do something and never did. Others are leftover ends of rolls, etc. There is quite a variety. A couple of the packages contain some actual rolls of ribbon. I have decided to pare down my ribbon collection by 75%. I just have too much that does not get used. Verve Visual Flowers

I love blue and pin together. I used a little punch for the plaid flowers and the SU photo punch for the corners. I put glitter on each of the flowers.

Scalloped border is done with a Martha Stewart border punch (thanks Jacki!). Ribbon is Papertrey. All stamps are MFT. I used watercolor crayons on this.

Home Made Pearl Dew Drops

Thanks to the tutorial posted at Gingerwood, I was able to make Pearl Dew Drops for wedding cards. I did the glue dot on the tweezers and then Versamarked a clear Skittle. I used Ranger Silver Embossing Pearl EP and they look identical to the pricey Hero Arts Pearls I bought a Michaels. The sheen and color is identical (photo did not pick that up), and the size is just a little larger than the largest ones in the packet.

My students love butterflies and I made several of these cards that went like hotcakes (they can earn them for reading, passing book tests, book reports, etc.). I love the Stickles all over it.

Faux Dew Drops---another technique

In addition to dropping Crystal Effects on wax paper and then stirring in a tiny bit of reinker via a toothpick, here is another option. Punch holes with your 1/4" punch in colors you like. Put them on the wax paper and put a drop of CE on those and let them dry. Makes a nice embellishment.

Yes, I do love them. No, I have not ordered them. They intimidate me. I can use the daisies and the roses and the hydrangea but these look one step up from those and I am scared of them, LOL!
